I have been with Toshiba for close to two decades now. The team spirit that is encouraged in TSIP is commendable, with opportunities to work with people from diverse backgrounds. Be it the T1100 (the first mass-market laptop) or the invention of Flash Memory, Toshiba has always innovated and sought to work relentlessly in the pursuit of a better way. This has inspired me and shaped my thinking over the years to develop a long term thinking mindset. My team at TSIP is cross-functional in nature and works on Multi-function peripherals, Cloud based systems, IoT, and application development. I am very proud to be part of such a big conglomerate that envisions a future where the people of the world lead better lives, and provide solutions for its realization.
Engineering Manager
I joined TSIP in 2007 and ever since was always excited about working with Toshiba, a company with such a rich heritage of innovations. I started out with Graphics development for Mobiles and TVs and then Streaming devices and now into Automotive (with focus on Ethernet) and Storage (HDDs) domain. Most of the projects we work on are multi-site projects involving our counterparts in Japan, US and Europe. Interactions with each of these counterparts give us a unique perspective from multiple aspects. Be it Technical, Communication or an End customer view. I feel every day here is an opportunity if you are open to it. The journey of creating together with Toshiba has been commendable with innumerable opportunities supported by experts around the globe.
Senior Engineering Manager
I have been associated with TSIP for 11 years in my professional career. I work in Toshiba’s Energy domain at TSIP in a managerial capacity. My team works with Design, Development and Testing of Embedded Firmware for IoT Devices. Being a Senior Engineering Manager and a mother at the same time comes with a lot of responsibilities and TSIP has aided me to fulfil my capabilities to the best in all the roles by being a constant pillar of support and motivation in all my endeavors.
Senior Engineering Manager
My journey with Toshiba Software (India) Private Limited has been one of learning, rising to new challenges, and working with a very talented team of professionals on several challenging and niche domains. I still remember my first day, joining TSIP as a fresher 20 years back with sixty others. Getting an opportunity to work in a product-based company was very rare back in those days in India and I was happy that I made it to Toshiba. There has been no turning back since then. I currently hold the role of Senior Engineering Manager, taking care of Management of NAND Flash work. I work with a very talented team engaging in tasks related to driver design, development, evaluation of latest eMMC and UFS, application engineering activities, customer support and supporting design and manufacturing of evaluation boards. TSIP has always provided a very conducive eco-system that has helped me to grow both professionally and personally.
Over the past 20 years (and still going), it has been a very satisfying and fulfilling journey for me where I have been able to deliver and constantly meet Japanese customer expectations along with continuous learning.
Hardware Engineer
As a newly graduate student stepping into the corporate world, the prospect of working with Toshiba was a big-time opportunity. I was eagerly looking forward to putting the skills I gathered in my academic life to practical use. In 2022, the possibility of employment at Toshiba appeared to me and I was happy to start my career at a company that had a huge array of opportunities to offer. TSIP provides a supportive and dynamic work environment that encourages creativity and fosters growth. One of the many things that I appreciate most about working at Toshiba is the emphasis on continuous learning and development.
As a Hardware engineer in Toshiba, I have had the opportunity to work with some of the most innovative and talented individuals in the industry. The technological front that Toshiba indulges in, like the use of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles for example, instils a sense of pride in working for an organization that comes up with innovative ways to ensure harmony with the planet, at the same time encourages me to think beyond the box.
