TSIP has tailored its CSR activities to meet the goal of playing a positive role in the community by giving back to the society that enables us with a space to grow.
Mid-day Meals for Children
We have an ongoing CSR programme with Akshaya Patra to support midday meal for students at Bellary District in Karnataka & Satara in Maharashtra.
Industry – Academia Collaboration
TSIP takes initiatives under the CSR umbrella to encourage Industry-academia collaborations.
Through these collaborations, we intend to support holistic development in line with TSIP’s vision of digital agility thereby generating a positive impact and bringing value to the student community who can do wonders as professionals by turning on the promise of a new day.

TSIP collaborated with Mizuho India Japan Study Center at IIM, Bangalore.
TSIP signed a MoU with International Institute of Information Technology (IIITB) Bangalore, to support research projects on “Smart City”. Click here to read more

Tree Planting Drive
TSIP recently collaborated with Rotary Club of Bangalore Oasis and Ninedots Foundation to plant 500 trees at the premises of Koira Government School which will provide a number of benefits for the students, staff, and community. Around 135 TSIP employees participated in the tree planting drive. Additionally, children from the high school, Koira village elders and members of Rotary Club and Ninedots foundation also participated in the activity along with TSIP employees.
Aligning with Toshiba’s Sustainability Month efforts to further advance the initiatives and strengthen our activities to contribute to social sustainability, TSIP reiterates our enduring credo of contributing to society's development by solving social issues through business as well as social and environmental stability.

The objectives of the Whistleblowing System of Toshiba Software India Private Limited (❛Company❜) is to promote a fair, accountable, ethical, and professional work environment. The Whistleblowing System Policy enables whistleblowers to report various corporate and ethical irregularities and misconducts within the Company. The Policy also enables the Company to rectify any issues reported in a transparent and credible manner while protecting the whistleblowers from adverse treatment.
2. Whistleblowing Procedure
Whistleblowers can report events within the scope of reporting which are as follows:
a) Serious violation of any organization-level policy.
b) Any matter, which has occurred or sufficient evidence exists to confirm the occurrence, and is likely to receive adverse media or public attention;
c) Any activity or event, which exposes the organization to a significant monetary or non-monetary liability;
d) Points towards any event which is the result of action by an individual, e.g. coercion in any form, misappropriation of cash/ funds, abuse of power / position to secure unfair advantages, etc.
e) Indicates any incident/ possible incident of sexual harassment or power harassment at the workplace (SOC). Significant threat to the health/safety of employees/community.
f) Any other violation of the Standard of Conduct
Whistleblowers willing to report an event within the scope of reporting may contact the Chief Risk Officer at the email i.d. compliance@toshiba-tsip.com (❛Contact Point❜). The Contact Point will receive reports, inform the Administration Office (❛the Office❜) of the reports it receives, and contact the Whistleblowers, if necessary.
3. Reporting Obligations
Through Whistle Blower Policy, the organization is providing a window which irregularities may be brought to light, by individuals who may be interacting with / observing the organization in the course of their business. Whistleblower may make reports anonymously, if they wish and must call or an email the Contact Point. When a Whistleblower reports an event, they must separate the objective and rational grounds from the implications of such grounds. The information provided would be useful in making its processes and systems more robust, and sustainable. This Policy has been formulated with a view to provide a mechanism for employees of the Company to approach the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) holding the charge of Managing Director. It would also help to create an environment where individuals feel free and secure to raise the alarm where they see a problem. It will also ensure that whistle blowers are protected from retribution, whether within or outside the organization.
4. Protection for whistleblowers
The Company, as a policy, condemns any kind of discrimination, harassment, victimization or any other unfair employment practice being adopted against Whistle Blowers. Complete protection will, therefore be given to Whistle Blowers against any unfair practices like retaliation, threat or intimidation of termination/suspension of service, disciplinary action, transfer, demotion, refusal of promotion, or the like including any direct or indirect use of authority to obstruct the Whistle Blower’s right to continue to perform his duties/functions including making further Protected Disclosure. The Company will take steps to minimize difficulties, which the Whistle Blower may experience as a result of making the Protected Disclosure. Thus, if the whistle Blower is required to give evidence in criminal or disciplinary proceedings, the Company will arrange for the Whistle Blower to receive advice about the procedure.
